Design
The design of the pillar means that if it is dug down and compressed, it needs multiple weights to pull it up again.
The pillar is 30 kg but the towing weight is 70 kg when it is buried.
Álfur is made of C45 (MPa) concrete.
There is a strong 8mm iron rebar in the pillar that connects to the socket at the top.
